Sysec Security Group expands its Business across EMEA

Sysec Security Group is pleased to announce the opening of its Dubai based Middle East Head Quarters earlier this week. Focusing on addressing the same core competence as that of its UK business, Sysec will be operating with strategic partners Imprivata, ActivIdentity, Marshal, McAfee and Lenel. The launch of this new facility is due to the excessive growth and market demand being experienced by the GCC. With an excess of new businesses moving in every day to take advantage of the preferential economic climate, there is currently a severe lack of appropriately qualified IT Security Consultants and compliance standards such as CISSP and PCI. Sysec is perfectly positioned to meet this demand as a solution and services led businesses entering a market where many clients are not gaining the full ROI upon their investment in technology.

Cris Pikes CEO of Sysec Security Group commented, "We are now beginning to see accelerated commoditization of vendor products and the consolidation of the IT Security market across vendors, distribution and VAR's alike. We are also aware of the many IT Security related business acquisitions and mergers over recent months. One of the best examples to demonstrate the shift in the market was the purchase of Vistorm by EDS earlier this year expanding EDS' capability to deliver a complete turn key solution. Security is no longer a separate IT component but an integral part of the wider IT solution. Additional factors such as price alignment and the economic environment are also impacting the US and European markets. Whilst our UK operations sustain a strong market position within our niche security areas and continue to maintain steady growth currently at 22% for 2007/08, we must look to new and emerging markets such as the ME and Asia for accelerated expansion."

Sysec Security Group will also be opening its new purpose built environmentally friendly Development Centre and India operations based in Pune later this year.
